    Mechanism of Action Lamivudine inhibits HIV reverse transcriptase and terminates DNA synthesis by competing for incorporation into viral DNA.
    Spectrum Lamivudine targets retroviruses hepatitis B virus (HBV) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
