Epothilone A

Epothilone A is a microtubule inhibitor isolated from the myxobacteria, Sorangium cellulosum. Epothilone A has been investigated in clinical trials as an antitumor agent.

Epothilone A is soluble in ethanol, methanol, DMF or DMSO. Poor water solubility.
