Description
Pristinamycin is a complex of antibiotics produced by Streptomyces pristinaespiralis, and is one of the "synergimycins" containing components that belong to different classes of antibiotics. Pristinamycin contains a streptogramin and a macrolide. It is active against gram-positive bacteria, including key drug-resistant strains, and some gram-negative bacteria.

    CAS Number

    270076-60-3

    Molecular Formula

    C45H54N8O10

    Molecular Weight

    866.96

    Mechanism of Action
