Description

1-(3-Chloro-4-fluorophenyl)-3-(1,3-thiazol-2-yl)thiourea is a halogen-containing thiourea derivative synthesized from 1,3-thiazole. 1-(3-Chloro-4-fluorophenyl)-3-(1,3-thiazol-2-yl)thiourea has been found to inhibit biofilm formation in wild type and methicillin-resistant strains of Staphylococcus epidermidis (see Technical Data).

    1-(3-Chloro-4-fluorophenyl)-3-(1,3-thiazol-2-yl)thiourea is active against Gram-positive cocci and Mycobacteria.
